In the name of indulgence (as I procrastinate on my Yuletide fic-writing), here is a set of "AO3 Wrapped" musings from Tumblr:

How many words have you written this year?

On the main account? A little more than 60,000. (More if we include the sinful sock account, and more if we waited until after Yuletide, since I generally end up writing 10k+ for Yuletide.)

How many works did you publish this year?

13 so far.

What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?

Probably the Ogre Battle fic I wrote? Just because it seemed doomed to obscurity (due to the rarity of the fandom), but instead it received a surprisingly nice reception.

What work of yours has the most hits?

I assumed it would be the megafandom porn I wrote in October, but no! While the hit-counter for that one climbs precipitously daily, it has yet to surpass the very tropey porn I wrote for a seven-year-old video game in April.

What work of yours got more feedback than you expected?

The Twelfth Night AU I wrote in January got an unexpected number of comments, especially since that fic is pretty much just me being weird and indulgent.

Favorite title you used

"The Sublimation of Ice," man.

Pairing you wrote the most for this year?

Tied, weirdly, between two Fire Emblem couples: Erk/Serra and Corrin/Xander. I'm not actually all that invested in either of them; they were just convenient little relationships upon which to hang various stories I wanted to write.

Favorite pairing you wrote for this year?

Um. Tragically, probably Corrin/Takumi, just because I enjoy writing Takumi as an awful sad-sack ragdoll who is always getting the Charlie-Brown-football yanked away from him.

What work was the quickest to write?

I remember "A Cat and a God Walk Into a Bar" as being quick, painless, and easy.

What work took you the longest to write?

"A Heart Left Unlocked" was a real slog to write, though I like the finished product quite a bit.

How many WIP's do you have in your docs for next year?

The Google Doc I use as scratch paper has a lot of entries, but only two that could be called WIPs, and I'm hoping to clear the decks and get them both posted by the end of the year.

What's your longest work of the year?

9,811 words.

What's your shortest work of the year?

449 words.

What WIP are you taking into next year with you?

My spiteful porn AU.

What's your most common "Additional Tags" tag?

"Drabble."

Your favorite character to write this year?

I really like writing bratty-but-competent Serra.

The character that gave you the most trouble writing this year?

Alas, it turns out I have zero emotions inspired by Ryoma, which has sapped my motivation to keep going with my spiteful porn AU.

What's one pairing you want to explore next year?

The OT3 of Dieck/Clarine/Rutger from Fire Emblem.

Which work of yours have you reread the most?

"Bodies of Water" continues to really hit the spot for me.

How many kudos in total did you get this year?

553.

Which work has the most comments?

Spiteful porn AU.

Favorite line/passage you wrote this year?

In Anya’s drawing, three stick figures huddle together.

Biggest surprise while writing this year?

I vaguely knew that private bookmarks were a thing on AO3, but since I wrote so much problematic porn this year, I've gotten to see, for the first time, the explosion of bookmarks tallied up on the Statistics page that are not reflected on the public bookmark counter on the fic itself. Like: the megafandom porn fic has 16 visible bookmarks but 52 total bookmarks right now. Which is rather heart-warming. People want to re-read that fic! But they do not want it connected to their AO3 profile in any way!

Also, I was not surprised that I lost subscribers when I started posting problematic porn, but I was surprised that I gained subscribers after posting problematic porn. Look, new subscribers, bad news: I am not consistent, I do not care about a coherent "brand" or authorial "identity," and I usually am "one-and-done" with any particular fandom. (I'm here for a good time, not a long time.) As such, I am a bad bet for a subscription.
